I've been anxiously awaiting THIS day to get here!
Today is the official start of Stampin' Up!'s Founders Circle Retreat.
There are 100 Stampin' Up! demonstrators here in gorgeous, sunny, warm St. George, Utah to enjoy the next 5 days of pampering, eating, sightseeing, sunbathing, eating, stamping, swapping, eating, shopping — shall I go on? (Did I mention eating?!) When I say that Stampin' Up! spoils us that's really an understatement. I have some dietary restrictions and do you know that called me to customize my menu – for the ENTIRE FIVE DAYS! I'm feelin' pretty special.
Every year the Retreat has a theme and this year it's "Home for the Holidays". I'm squealing with delight because I LOVE Christmas! I can't wait to see the decorations!
This entire hotel is dedicated solely to Stampin' Up!. To open up your hotel room door and see your stamping buddies every day is like a dream come true!
But special is not all. In addition to the pampering I get the honor of spending time with these leading demonstrators who share openly about holding events, their projects, how they balance their time between family and work and have I mentioned swaps?
I made a 115 of these cards to trade with my fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrator leaders. They took me a week to make. Why did I insist on sponging everything? ((heavy sigh)) It will all be worth it if they love them, though.
When I get back from Utah I'll be sure to share some of the fabulous swaps I received.
