I've held a class these last two days to introduce the Holiday Catalog. During the class my customers created three cards using Holiday Catalog product. This is one of the projects I featured.
The projects have been well received. I had 26 people here during the last two days and they all agreed that anything that "sparkles" get an A+.
A combination of the ink and designer paper really give this card a detailed look. The good news is that it's very easy to make.
I used Sahara Sand, Cajun Craze and Mossy Meadow ink pads to do the stamping. These are a few of the colors mimicked in the Color Me Autumn designer paper.
The overall appeal to this card comes from the strip of Champagne Glimmer Paper. I used one of the new Gold Metal Buttons and the Gold Baker's Twine to bring some continuity to the Glimmer Paper. The shine is simple yet striking.
