Today I’m sharing my 3 reasons I love my new craft room | video tour.

Six weeks ago my paper storage system began to fall apart. While researching my options I found that Ikea offered some great storage and organization solutions. Truth be told, I had always wanted an Ikea craft room but I had no justification to make changes – until now. I’m loving my new craft room!

Today is part one in a video series where I will be sharing my craft room renovations using Ikea storage products. With the help of Bob the Builder, we were able to utilize every inch of my 10’x10′ room to its maximum capacity. Oh, how I love craft room organization and craft room ideas, don’t you?!

3 Reasons I Love My New Craft Room

Reason 1 – I love Ikea craft rooms for their sleek, simple design. Despite the changes in styles and colors through the years, I know this room will alway fit into current decor. The Ikea Kallax system is one of the best craft room storage solutions ever!

Reason 2 – Craft room organization is easy using Ikea’s planning center. Choose the pieces you like and configure them into a virtual 3D setting to see how they’ll look. Ikea’s DIY pieces are incredibly affordable! Mixing pieces is easy since they offer the same finish in nearly every organization piece they sell.

Reason 3 – I have an affordable craft room storage solution for all of my supplies. Ikea’s expansive line includes more than furniture. They have amazing accessories that fit inside their units like decorative bins and baskets, file trays, drawers and doors. Choose your basic piece and add the features you love. The pull out file tray in the picture below is a simple, sturdy insert.

Today’s video is a quick craft room tour overview. Be sure to come back weekly as I share individual storage and organization solutions in upcoming episodes.

Not only are the Ikea pieces pretty and customizable but they’re affordable! Are you ready to start dreaming and planning for YOUR craft room or upgrading to Ikea storage solutions?
