I'm mixing it up today with a little 'old' and a little new. I've used the Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Hey, Chick" with the annual catalog stamp set "Marquee Messages" for a fun – and a little wild – card!
Last week I mentioned how I've had so much fun using the chicken images from this set to create all kinds of different cards. Today's rendition is proof that this crazy bird can easily be a fun birthday card.
I embossed the Tempting Turquoise cardstock using the Sparkle Embossing Folder and then punched a 2" opening in the front.
I used the same circle punch to create the Whisper White layer for the chicken which I colored using markers. Easy and fast!
The arrow and the sentiment come from the Marquee Messages stamp set. I thought that retro arrow played up that crazy bird perfectly!
I'm sure you know a few 'rock stars' that would get a kick out of this card!
