I see trees of green, red roses too
I see them bloom for me and you
And I think to myself what a wonderful world!

I don't know why this song plays over and over in my head when I use this stamp set but I do know that Louis Armstrong sang this song nostalgically.  Flowers. What is it about them that makes us feel happy, rejuvenated and peaceful?  My second passion in life is gardening (although if you saw my vinca right now you might wonder about my green thumb!).  That's probably why I gravitate to floral stamps.   If you're a flower lover like me then these tips will help you re-create this card.  1) Stamping directly on to your designer paper is a wonderful, fast way to add depth to your projects. Choose a pattern that's simple and repetitious for it to look best. The First Edition paper is PERFECT for this.  2) I wanted the 'worn' look without overly distressing the paper so I rolled the edges in my bone folder so they curled up.  3) I created the 'fuzzy look' of the center of my flowers with a sponge dauber. After I stamped the image, I very lightly swirled in over it.
