I've mentioned this before, but I decorate my house for every holiday and season. On Tuesday I took down all the St. Patrick's Day decorations and put up my Easter ones. That included my beloved Occasions Tree and this wreath that I made.
The wreath was so easy to make. From start to finish it took me about 90 minutes.
Step 1: Purchase a 10" foam wreath – not the white styrofoam but the green ones. The white ones just fall apart — go ahead, ask me how I know that?! Also purchase a box of straight pins.
Step 2: Cut 6-12"x12" sheets of double-sided designer paper (DSP) into 1/2" strips. Thanks to my fabulous Carl Cutter I can cut them all at one time!
Step 3: Use your bone folder and curl the ribbon.
Step 4: Pierce the center of the DSP with the straight pin and pin to the wreath. Do not fill the back of th wreath as it will be up against a wall or door.
Step 5: Decorate as desired.
I made a banner for my wreath using the Big Shot Typeset Alphabet dies.
I added a bow with the Whisper White Organza Ribbon and pierced it with a Brights Glimmer Brad.
I created the butterfly using the Beautiful Butterflies die and colored a Large Rhinestone Jewel with a Sharpie marker.
I'm happy with how it turned out and now I have a new addition to my Easter decorations!

I like this! It is so different and so cute…. My kids would love seeing this hanging at the house. It seems that it would be so fun to try….
Oh, thank you, Sharon. It was really fun to make. Go get a wreath and make one. The kids will love it! 🙂
