It's nearly 'wedding season' as I call it! Valentine's Day typically brings lots of newly engaged couples and spring brings forth it's brides.
Twenty-three years ago I got married right after Christmas (December 29th) and my bridesmaids wore red. Although red is a timeless color and still popular, you don't see it represented in bridesmaids dresses much anymore.
So, when I sat down to design this card I realized that the wedding colors have evolved over the years. Gone are the days of pastel yellows and pinks. But, coral…it's HUGE right now!
The Venetian Romance designer paper gives this card the right nostalgic wedding feel.
I even added the Dotted Scallop Ribbon punch to add to that feeling. Of course, no card is complete without some bling. I added a rhinestone and I also added some Dazzling Details to the bottom edge of the punched border. You can see it if you look closely.
My dear friend, Karina, is getting married in November. And, as a true representation of how 'times have changed', her bridesmaids are wearing a light color of gray. One thing fo sure, weddings will always represent the brides style!
