Today's framed art project represents another make & take from my all day crafting retreat.
If you've missed any of the other four projects, go back and review my posts since last Friday, beginning HERE.
When I created this project I knew I wanted something that was a "WOW". I also knew that I didn't want it to take hours to create.
Punches and the Big Shot to the rescue!
I began with Smoky Slate cardstock and Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper as my palette.
These two panels show the Flower Garden embossing folder, Decorative Label punch, Bitty Butterfly punch and the 7/8" Scallop Circle punches. A button and rhinestone add a little dimension.
You might remember that I used the Blossom Party Die HERE. I used it again on this project, doubling up the daisy to create a fuller flower. I also used the Floral Fusion Sizzlit die. And, of course, more rhinestones and buttons.
More punches – the Artisan Label punch was added. It fits the images in the Label Love stamp set perfectly. Better yet, you can purchase the Bundle and save 15% – stamp set AND punch included!
The leaf is from the stamp set Secret Garden and the flower is from the Flower Shop – also sold as a Bundle which includes the stamp set and the Pansy punch.
You can see how easy it is to create beautiful, framed art. Consider personalizing it, too. Add a monogram letter or images that reflect the person you're giving the frame too.
There's nothing better than a handmade gift!
