Have you ever been in a home improvement store and seen women in the paint department gathering up lots of paint chip samples?
You may think they are considering colors for redecorating.
Maybe they are.
But, they could be collecting those random color samples for another reason.
Paint Chip crafting has become popular.
So, what do they do with these collected paint chip samples? CLICK HERE and see some ideas!
BUT, what if the store is closed or you don't feel like venturing out?
Problem solved!
During my all day crafting retreat last Saturday, I taught the Paint Chip technique. It's a method of creating your own 'chip' using graduating colors. It's not only easy but convenient…you don't have to leave home!
I used Soft Sky, Pool Party, Pistachio Pudding and Coastal Cabana.
I added some pearls and the Coastal Cabana Ruffled Stretch Trim ribbon to play up the elegant feel of these colors.
I used the Banner Framelits to cut out the greeting from Sassy Salutations.
The best part about the paint chip technique is that it's perfect for any greeting.
Dig out your scraps and start experimenting. You'll find it's addicting!
