With all the wonderful things to CASE out there isn't it nice to know that we can, sometimes, come up with our own ideas?
This is a "Lisa original". I love the color scheme, especially with the Watercolor Wonder Designer Paper.
There's no need to color in the image stamped directly on the white cardstock since you will use the 1 3/4" circle punch to punch out another layer and mirror it over the top of the one on the white cardstock. This is called the Spotlight Technique and an awesome 'cheater' way of not coloring in an entire outline image.
And, no, I didn't thread that button and make a bow. (I get asked that question a lot!) That's far too much work when you can create a bow and then stick a Glue Dot on it!
With a little alignment, you can make it appear as if you threaded the button when you 'cheated'.
I stamped the images in Jet Black Staz On ink and then colored it in with the Aqua Painter. I used the Daffodil Delight ink pad first, then the Crisp Cantaloupe ink to highlight the petals. The Pear Pizzazz was used on the stem and leaves.
Come back and visit tomorrow – in-between church, egg hunts, eating and time with family and friends. I've got a "twist" on this same stamp set you won't want to miss reading about.
Happy Easter!

Beautiful “Lisa Original” Easter card!!!! You should be very proud of yourself for coming up with this on your own!!! You are definitely my type of crafter… easy cheater methods… lol. I think I have “crafters ADHD” because if it takes to long to do, I start stressing and have a panic attack!!!! 😉
I really like that spotlight technique.. and your use of the aqua painter. You make it look sooooo easy peasy!! I accumulate all of this “stuff” and then forget or don’t know how to use it!!! :-\ You definitely have me inspired!!!
Have a very Blessed Easter celebrating the most Holiest time of the year!!! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for the “twist” on the stamp set!!!
Hi Trish! You know, CASE work is so much easier! LOL I’m so happy to hear that I’m keeping you inspired!
Happy Easter to you and your family.
Hugs!
