Sometimes you just need a card that says "hey there"!
What does "hey there" mean, anyways?
I'm thinking it's a substitute for "hi", "how are you", "what's going on".
Could it be a "universal greeting"? ((grin))
I cut away 1" of the front of the card and mounted an embossed piece of Basic Black cardstock. I used the Chevron Embossing Folder to coordinate with the Kaleidoscope Designer Paper.
You can see the detail a bit better in the photo below.
This card was inspired by one I saw from Penny Smiley.
The Word Bubble Framelits were used to cut out the "negative" image and the words. The Just Sayin' stamp set and the Word Bubble Framelits can be purchased in a Bundle to save you 15%.
I don't know about you, but, "hey there", I love a good deal, don't you?
Oh, speaking of good deals, don't forget, I'm going to be offering Bon Voyage Bucks during my Stampin' Up! Incentive Cruise.
The excitement starts April 30th!

“Hey There” Lisa, 🙂
I like that nice friendly alternative to “hi, hello, how’s it going, etc.”
Your card is definitely attention getting with the “hey there” phrase, and I like the colors too…nice and cheery!!!
You are awesome to providing some fun by offering bon voyage bucks while you are off having fun on your cruise!!!!! Can’t wait to see what you have in store for us!!
Hugs,
Trish
Hey there, Trish! 🙂 My daughter never says ‘hello’ anymore. It’s always “hey” or “hey there”. I think it’s a ‘new generation’ term but I’m not opposed to it. It’s certainly informal, though. I can’t imagine meeting the President of the United States and greeting him with “Hey There”! LOL I’m excited about the Bon Voyage Bucks and hope you’ll enjoy taking advantage of my offer.
Hugs!
