Today we continue with the pages of my completed Mini Memories Album Kit.
The 7"x5" design of this album, plus the abundance of the kit contents makes creating, or giving, this kit a breeze.
Priced at just $13.95 (yes, you read right – $13.95!) for the entire kit, you can't go wrong!
I learned a few things while making my kit that I want to share with you.
Unbeknownst to me, the kit was designed to be used in the 'landscape' fashion. However, in my excitement to get started on my album (after all this was an impromptu class and I had 2 days to get it done), I didn't look carefully at the designer paper pages.
Turns out that one side of the printed double-sided pages had a direction to it. Yep, horizontally!
UGH – but then I thought about it. What's the big deal, right?
And, to my delight, 1/3 of those attending my class made their album just like mine. They didn't care that the pears were going in another direction either!
I added a little Washi Tape to these two pages. There's plenty of die-cut borders in the kit but I wanted to "spruce things up" – and get some use out of these soon-to-be retired products.
But, here's a tip that I wanted to share with you.
The kit comes with 3 sheets of die-cuts. After I punched out the printed areas I was left with the 'negatives'. I didn't throw those away! Nope, I used them, too. They made great, additional border trims like you see in the page example above. Notice the small white edge of the stripe border?
Nothing gets wasted in this kit!
Come back tomorrow for Part 4 of this album!
“MMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!” ~~~~ {waving hands frantically, while yes jumping up and down} I want the catalog NOW!!!!!! lol. The cover is enticing enough….beautiful!!!! 🙂
….and B~E~A~U~T~I~F~U~L is part 3 to your mini album! I actually like the “tall” version like you created yours….
The Gold Washi tape on the second page really adds that “umphhh” to the page…very pretty page… I just love WASHI tape!!!
Thank you for the “nudges” to get my own album and get creating this. I like the fact that you will have samples of ALL the pages and not just the cover…meaning I will complete the entire album!! 🙂
now… just to “hang out” for 1 more day in order to place my order..that will be hard, but hey for a FREE catalog, I’ll wait!!!
Hugs,
Trish
Hi Trish! Thanks for the kudos on this album. It was lots of fun and very easy. This kit is a STEAL at $13.95!
Have a great day!
