I'm on a mission this week!
I'm trying to convince you, by showing you amazing samples, that you NEED this stamp set.
"Another Great Year" will not be in the new catalog releasing on June 2nd.
It IS available and WILL BE available through June 1st, though.
The Calpyso Coral and the Chocolate Chip goes beautifully together, don't you think?
The warm tones and polka dot designer paper really make the banner on this card "pop".
I stamped the greeting twice; once on the Very Vanilla cardstock and again on the designer paper.
I 'fussy cut' the designer paper and layered it right over the first stamped image with Dimensionals.
Cutting was simple since the lines of the banner are prominent.
Next came this cirlce of candles. I colored in the candles with the ink refills and a Blender Pen, added a little glitter to the tips and mimicked the banner above for the "Wish Big" tiny banner here.
I also sponged the edges.
Don't throw away those designer paper scraps. This is a great project to recycle those leftovers – in any color!

You are definitely convincing about needing this stamp set. I really like the techniques you used for your card, and the great “scraps” tip! I love this stamp set and so sad that it won’t be in the new catalog. This is such a great stamp set and not only for birthdays. You can “tweak” so many of those images to fit other occasions.. (the “wish big” on the candles image can be used for graduation, etc.). Gotta love that awesome cupcake image!!!! 🙂
