I'd categorize myself as a French-Country kinda' gal.
What is French-Country you ask?
It's rustic, old-world and welcoming.
Lots of my crafting projects depict this feel and my home certainly does.
When I created this "Lisa Original" it reminded me of old-world meets welcoming.
The vintage typewriter still looks great with the retro triangles and warm color tones.
I'm really having fun with the combination of Hello Honey and Blackberry Bliss. Use of the Moonlight Designer Paper Stack makes it easy, too, since it's featured in the Stack.
Keeping with the rustic look, I added a staple to hold my ribbon. Surprisingly, lots of my customers have difficulty getting the ribbon placed 'just right' when they stapled so I'd like to give you a few tips.
- Use a small amount of adhesive in the center of your ribbon
- Pinch it closed to form a "V" shape (as shown)
- Use another small amount of adhesive on the folded end of the ribbon and position it where you'd like.
- Staple! This guarantees the ribbon won't move.
So, how do you categorize your style?
