And, who said that "Happy Hour" has to be about a cocktail? I think "Happy Hour" is that block of happy time when you open up a handmade card!
I began by using the circle mask from the Dots & Stripes Decorative Masks. I prefer to use a wedge of the Stampin' Sponge versus a Sponge Dauber so I can control how dark the circles get.
Here's an important tip about using the masks; start out with a light hand, you can always make it darker by re-sponging the area but you can't make it lighter. When you remove the mask you'll be very surprised at how a little bit of ink goes a long way.
After I stamped the sentiment I added a star clip from the Basics Hodegpodge Clips. I love this assortment of clips because they are thin and pliable and won't add extra postage to your card.
The circles at the bottom where punches from the 1" Circle punch and then adhered in alternating colors. I thought it added some interest to the polka dot background.
It might not be Happy Hour for you right now but I know I had a very happy hour when I was able to come up with this Lisa Original!
