Age….it's just a number, right?
I celebrated my 53rd birthday last month. When I looked in the mirror, I thought "hmmm, I'm getting wrinkled…gravity is starting to take over. I'm getting older."
Then I thought…"age is just a number." At 53 I can do things I couldn't do at 20, heck, even 40. I'm grateful to be more established, more grounded – more mature.
Yeah, we'll go with more 'mature'!
With numbers in mind, I created this birthday card that would be suitable for anyone – young or mature. ((Grin))
I especially love the metallic look. Although metallics are very "trendy right now" I feel they are still classic. When haven't gold and silver been "in", right?
I paired the Typeset designer paper (of course, the numbers pattern!) with the gold foil cardstock to create two, offset banners.
I stamped the cake image in Gold Encore ink and added a few gold sequins using my 2-Way Glue Pen.
The Stylish Stripes embossing folder adds a little texture (not like my wrinkles, though! hehehe)
