One of my favorite new products in the Holiday Catalog is the Confetti Stars punch. Not only will it make confetti, as the name implies, but it will also create a really neat border.
Instead of punching a border on the card base itself, I decided to use a piece of the Trim the Tree designer paper. I created a "negative image" that I mounted on my card.
I loved the "joy" banner stamp creates a great clothesline so I could 'hang' the Santa suit from it.
If you followed my blog then you know how much I like sparkle. I couldn't resist adding some glitter to the Santa suit trim.
And…I have a confession.
I got a little adhesive happy.
When I added adhesive to the back side of my designer paper some of the tape peeked through a few of the stars that I had punched. So, like any crafter would do, I decided to find a way to fix my mistake without re-doing it. The exposed adhesive became the perfect place to add more glitter!
I always say, if you can't change it, camouflage it!
I reward my online shoppers with free hand-stamped cards that I've created PLUS their hard copy patterns to recreate them These cards are special – they have creative folds!
