People think that living in Florida means you naturally like flamingos. I'm here to bust that theory. Although I do see a few homes with plastic flamingos in their yards it's certainly not as common as you'd think…and there isn't one in our yard. ((grin))
BUT, I do LOVE these flamingos because they represent Stampin' Up!'s annual Ronald McDonald House Charities stamp set called Flamingo Lingo. $3 from the sale of each and every one of these stamp sets will go to benefit the Ronald McDonald House Charities.
And in case you didn't know, I'm struttin' my stuff for the Ronald McDonald House Charities. Stampin' Up! is a global sponsor for this amazing organization and you can help. I'm always looking for groups to help me stamp and assemble cards that are donated to the Tampa, FL House. I promise – I make it super easy and fun! I also used the Dotty Angles stamp set to create the border at the bottom of this card. I love that the Photopolymer stamp sets allow for perfect placement because the stamps are clear.
I also added a few flowers, the banner and scallop oval image in a cluster near the bottom to help off-set the tall flamingo image. These images are all included in this Flamingo Lingo set, making it very versatile.
Won't you consider helping your local Ronald McDonald House?
Together we CAN make a difference!
