My huge box (ok, two boxes!) of Occasions and Sale-A-Bration Catalog products arrived the week before Christmas.  Like all good paper crafters I left the box unopened and put it aside until I knew I'd have time to sit and play with it all.  NOT!  I broke that darn box opened and like a kid in a candy store, I couldn't decide what to use first.  I'll admit, I had some "epic fails" but I also had a few successes!  I'm counting this a success because it's a "Lisa Original"!

This beautiful new stamp set is called Painted Petals and will be available on January 6th in the new Occasions Catalog…along with 50 other pages of awesome-ness!  If you're one of my existing customers you should have received your copy by now. The color combination of Rich Razzleberry and Sahara Sand is so rich.  I used Whisper White cardstock to stamp the flower image.

The scallop trim border punch creates a delicate edge and I used the 1/16" hand held punch to create small holes inside the scallops for a more detailed look.  Of course, this card 'screamed' pearls so I added a few under the greeting which is from the FREE Sale-A-Bration stamp set "Simply Wonderful".
