Have you ever looked for an idea and find that you've found lots of ideas – all from the same person? I've got lots of people whose work resonates with me and Lyssa Zwolanek is one of them. The original idea for this layout came from Lyssa. I did manage to add a few "Lisa tweaks" (arrows) but otherwise it's an exact CASE. (copy and share everything) I love the simplicity and the use of the Typeset Designer Paper.
The Typeset Designer Paper feels like old book pages. Many sheets include type from old newspaper ads, book pages and there are several that have old number fonts and stripes in the paper collection. The mixture makes it timeless and versatile.
The Very Vanilla cardstock that houses the title "Big News" is cut 4" x 6", stamped and then mounted on an angle on the designer paper. I simply cut the excess away before adhering it to my scrapbook page. The black striped paper is part of the Typeset Designer Paper pack and works beautifully as a border.
The Spiral Border punch adds to the old fashioned/book feel. The silver arrows give a little shine to the matte look and a few areas stamped in Crumb Cake with the Gorgeous Grunge stamp set provide a worn appearance.
Who said that traditional scrapbooking had to be difficult? Not me! My monthly Stamp N' Scrap Club would attest to that. You can find more scrapbook samples by searching my blog.
Remember, too, all these products are available in my online store and I provide online shopping REWARDS, too!
