Who likes parties?
I like attending them AND hosting them. You'll probably agree with me that hosting is more work; shopping, preparing, cleaning, setting up…but oh, so worth it!
Every paper crafter knows you can't just 'throw a party' without a party favor! Right?
Today's video tutorial will give you step by step instructions for an EASY, FAST and AFFORDABLE gift bag. This bag can be used as a party favor or even to hold a gift.
Although my sample is for a birthday this could easily be changed to any theme; baby, shower, wedding, retirement, get well, etc.
I wasn't able to post the one stamp set in the "product overview" since it's not available until tomorrow when the new Occasions Catalog begins. The set, however, is called Time To Celebrate and you'll love the whimsical, sketched outlines.
There's just ONE MORE DAY until the new Occasions Catalog and Stampin' Up!'s Sale-A-Bration begin!
As always, I've posted still photos and dimensions for today's project below the video in today's post.
Happy Partying!

Tips and Dimensions
- Don't limit yourself to the size bag I've used. Tweak the dimensions to create bigger or smaller bags to hold your specific favor or gift.
- I used a #2 white bag that I purchased from Amazon.com. This specific size bags is cheapest bought in bulk so find a friend to share them with. Otherwise, you can find them in smaller quantities at the "contraband craft stores" ((smile))
- Cut the #2 white bag down to 5". Adjust this according to the size bag you are using.
- The Top Note Die creates the bag topper, score in half and fold. Attach to your bag using Sticky Strip for best results.
- The Daffodil Delight cardstock (behind the designer paper) measures 3 3/4" x 3 3/4". Adjust this size for different size bags.
- The designer paper measures 3 1/2" x 3 1/2".

Your treat bag is super cute!!! I like how quick and easy it looks to make!
