Did you know that gifts cards are the #1 asked for gift in the U.S.?
Whether for birthdays, showers, graduation or Christmas people want gift cards so they can select their own gifts.
Some people feel this form of gift-giving is impersonal but it's certainly practical.
Today's video tutorial will teach you how to create an easy gift card holder from an envelope.
As always, I've posted pictures and cutting dimensions after the video in this blog post.
Enjoy!
Cutting Dimensions
- Medium Whisper White Envelope
- Gold Soiree Designer Paper 'wrap' 3 3/4" x 6"
- Gold Soiree Designer paper 'belly band' 1" x 6"
- Pistachio Pudding inserts (2) 2 1/2" x 4 3/4"

That Gold Soiree DSP is sooooo pretty, and perfect for your cute cute cute gift card holder!!! I am such a “sucker” for cuteness, so with the inspiration of all the Christmas ones made and now continuing throughout the year, I am on a gift card holder kick! I really like how quick and easy this one is with the use of an envelop!!!!! I would never have looked at that flower to match the scalloped circle punch…. very cool (I hate fussy cutting)
Awesome creation Lisa!

I really like the pistachio pudding with the gold soirée paper. Lisa what is the tool you used to pick up the rhinestone?
Hi Lisa,
I just love all your videos. Thank you for them.
Can you tell me what is that devise is that you are using in this video to lift and add the Rhinestones & sequins’?
Thanks a bunch,
Susan
Hi Susan! I’m so glad you are enjoying my videos. Thank you for watching! The tool I used to pick up the sequins can be found at a craft store. Mine was a gift but I was told she purchased it for me at JoAnn’s. It’s called Quickstik by We R and there were other brands as well. We’ve suggested this product to SU! in hopes they will add it to our accessory line in the future. I can not use these beautiful sequins without it! 🙂
Deb, I just posted the information about the tool I used, above. It’s called “Quickstik” by We R and you can find it a JoAnn’s. Hope this helps.
Hi Trish! Thanks for commenting. I’m thrilled you like it!
Thanks a gazillion. I will surely look for it, and hope SU will get it sell it the near future.
Oh, gosh, me, too, Susan. I could sell oodles of them! 😀
