On Valentine's Day, 25 years ago, Bob the Builder asked me to be his wife. To say I was ecstatic would be an understatement. I had found the man of my dreams!  Our engagement night was a total surprise to me and because I didn't know, it didn't go exactly as Bob had planned.

I had a bad head cold and was looking forward to a carry out dinner of chicken noodle soup.  Bob, however, had made reservations at a fancy restaurant in celebration of the holiday.  I didn't want to disappoint him so I went.

When we arrived the line to get in was out the door but he assured me that he had reservations and that those people in line didn't.  Well, they did!  The restaurant was over an hour behind schedule.  Bob knew I was feeling lousy so recommended a small "hole in the wall" restaurant known for it's delicious Italian food.  All I wanted to do was go home, but I went.

We ordered dinner and while we were waiting for it to arrive Bob handed me a beautiful, pink rose and said "Happy Valentine's Day".  Dangling from the rose was a silk ribbon and a gorgeous engagement ring!  All of the sudden I felt better!  I was GETTING the man of my dreams!  We'll be married 25 years this December.

Each month I design 3 double-page 12"x12" scrapbook layouts for my Stamp N' Scrap Club.  This is one for this week's class.  I realize not everyone looks at Valentine's Day the way we do, so I kep the them more about "love" than candy gifts.

I used a combination of hearts from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack and the Fashionable Hearts Embosslit.  I lined them up to mimic a banner using Dimensionals. And, of course, in true "Lisa fashion" they had to have rhinestones!  The background is stamped in Versamark ink using a mixture of hearts from various stamp sets.

The words "Love Ya" are from the Just Sayin' stamp set which coordinates perfectly with the Word Bubbles Framelits.

In case you missed yesterday's Quick Tip video I've pasted it below. It teaches you three different ways to create perfect banner tips, just like on this scrapbook layout!
