6 months of planning all comes together today!
Today is my semi-annual retreat called "Crafting at the Lodge".
To say I'm excited would be an understatement. I've planned long and hard for this day so that 29 women could come to relax, enjoy a day of paper crafting and fellowship.
Today's retreat includes 2 homemade meals, a candy buffet (you know there's chocolate if I'm in charge!), games, door prizes, gifts and 13 make & takes.
Yes, you read right, THIRTEEN make & takes! This is one of them.
I used a 5"x8" junior size legal pad (bought in bulk at Amazon), a Pentel RSVP brand pen and a jumbo paper clip to make this stationary gift set.
I featured the free Sale-A-bration designer paper "Best Day Ever" and the coordinating ribbon.
The Bordering Blooms stamp set worked perfectly with this designer paper. I used Crushed Curry, Calypso Coral and Coastal Cabana markers to color in the flower images.
The paper clip topper consists of two scallop circle punched pieces, hot glued together. Really simple yet sturdy and practical.
The Pentel RSVP brand pens have a clear cylinder housing for ink pen. This allowed me to remove the end and slip some designer paper inside so that it coordinated with my set.
My next retreat will be in the fall. I hope you plan to join us!

WOOOHOO Lisa , have lots of fun !!!
