There's something intriguing about a cowboy.
Maybe it's the chaps. Maybe it's the spurs. Maybe it's the hat.
Whatever it is, it's captivating. Even as I type this I can imagine the sound of their spurs as they walk.
The "Wild West" setting doesn't have to be in a dusty, old downtown saloon. It could be the time you wrestled your Great Dane for a bath or when you caught your 3-year old with your lipstick or even the shenanigans of a great party. Whatever "wild" means to you – document it!
Today's scrapbook layout was created for my monthly Stamp N' Scrap Club using the Yee-Haw stamp set.
You won't find this photopolymer stamp set in the catalog. It was introduced last year as part of Stampin' Up!'s monthly new collection of photopolymer images. GOOD NEWS – it's still available!
My double-page 12"x12" scrapbook layout is simple and leaves lots of room for those 'wild' pictures I know everyone has.
The stamp set is abundant with images; lots more than I even used!
I created the little lasso with a strand of Burlap Ribbon. I cut 2 pieces 8" long. One I looped around a few times and used the second piece to tie it together. A Glue Dot holds it perfectly.
The star image was stamped in Real Red ink then punched out with the 3/4" Circle Punch. I added a mini silver brad to the center and they are mounted on Dimensionals.
Check out that barbed wire stamp! Isn't that perfect for those wild pictures you're going to preserve?
