Several years ago Stampin' Up! reconstructed the material used for their ink pads.  I'll admit, I was skeptical.  I had gotten used to the felt pads and like any change I wasn't sure how well their new 'firm foam pads' would measure up.

To my surprise I was thrilled and remain thrilled years later.  The pads are slightly springy (I couldn't think of a better word) but aren't squishy (yep, still can't think of another word).  They are juicy and require little to no effort to ink. I've noticed that my images are clearer, more uniform and vibrant.

They will require more frequent reinking – if you use them as much as I do.  I've had lots of people ask me how to properly reink them.  Today's video will show you just how to do that.  Grab the refill bottle and a plastic spoon, yep, a plastic spoon, and watch.

If you still own the older felt pads you might want to give these new firm foam pads a try. I think you will agree they are far superior!
