When I was about 13 years old I asked my Mom why she named me Lisa.  She told me that she had another name picked out but she knew the initials would look silly together so she settled on Lisa.  I thought that was the craziest thing I had ever heard!

Then along came my daughter, Gina (aka "Boo").

I just about sent my Mom over the edge when I named Gina. Why?  Her initials are are GNC.  Yep, just like the vitamin store! To this day, whenever I see Boo's initials I think back to my conversation with my Mom and laugh.

Our initials identify us and they are often used in monograms.  You might think monograms are 'old school' and reserved only for personalizing bathroom towels.  Try searching monograms on Pinterest, you'll be amazed how they are used not just for personalizing but for home decor!

The Sophisticated Serifs stamp set creates beautiful initials and monograms. It also creates great titles for scrapbooking.

Today's video tutorial will teach you a super EASY way to get those letters lined up perfectly and save you time while doing it.

SPOILER ALERT!

I have created a "Lisa Original" project that goes perfectly with today's monogram note cards.  I will be sharing that project next Monday in a separate video tutorial.

Be sure you're subscribed to my blog so you don't miss it!

NOTE: for sample includes an additional piece of cardstock.  I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock and mounted it on Dimensional to the actual note card base providing a double layer to the front.
