I love the look of a watercolor or washed background because it's so forgiving.
These types of backgrounds were never intended to be even, straight or have even colors.
You might remember the Sale-A-Bration designer paper "Best Day Ever". There was a pattern of stripes in Coastal Cabana that was whimsical and fun. Although that designer paper is now retired I felt there had to be a way to mimic it.
And I found a way!
I'm including pictures and supplies for this project following the video in this post.
Remember, too, that May 26th (tomorrow!) is the final day to purchase retiring stamp sets before they go on "only while supplies last" status.
I've seen the new catalog and you're going to LOVE IT! There is a small change in the ink pad pricing that I want to inform you of. The current price of $5.95 will increase to $6.50 effective the new catalog debut on June 2nd. (U.S. pricing) This is a GREAT time to stock up on your favorite colors. Be sure to buy the refills, too. But, the cost of embossing folders are going down!
I offer exclusive REWARDS for online shoppers. Get all the details and see pictures of what I include HERE.
This stamp set and the coordination punch come in a BUNDLE to save you 15%. I've included the bundle and the individual products in the supply list below.
I stamped the words directly on the card during the video.
Below I stamped the words on a separate piece of cardstock and used the Ticket Duo Builder Punch.
I had to hide my boo boo! ((come on…you've done that before, too, right?)) SMILE

Very cute card….love the marker technique. Thanks for the share…I may be CASE’ing it for an upcoming event.
So glad you like it, Mary! CASE away!!!
