There's something about the look of watercolor that is reminiscent of summer. I love the washed look of a beautiful sunset!
Watercolor backgrounds aren't just limited to summertime. Give this easy and fun technique a try with florals, bold outline images and even bold greetings. I think you'll love the results from such little effort.
I will be using the Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes which are an exceptional value for 20 cards and 20 envelopes, all mailable size, for only $5.95. (U.S.) No cutting required!
You'll need a clear block for this technique, a few markers and a water bottle. I'll teach you the easy way to color on the block, how to mist your card so you aren't saturating your work surface and some tips on achieving different results.
Remember to scroll down, after the video to view the pictures of today's project and a complete supply list.
I've seen the new catalog and you're going to LOVE IT! There is a small change in the ink pad pricing that I want to inform you of. The current price of $5.95 will increase to $6.50 effective the new catalog debut on June 2nd. (U.S. pricing) This is a GREAT time to stock up on your favorite colors. Be sure to buy the refills, too. But, the cost of embossing folders are going down!

Loved the “watercolor Wetlands” card you made. Having the stamp set, I’ll be making this card for sure. Thank U Lisa for the great idea. Will be perfect for Father’s Day cards. R
