Shimmery Sleigh Ride

I'm gearing up for my Founders Circle Retreat next month where time is set aside to swap with the other achievers.  I racked my brain over a design that would not disappoint my stamping friends and this is what I came up with.

I used new Holiday Catalog product which unveils on September 1st and is filled with 51 pages of awesome products.  You won't be disappointed, I promise!

I followed a sketch from Freshly Made Sketches for the layout and simply changed the orientation of the sketch.

#200

I'm sure at least one of you is asking "why did she use red to represent the snow?".  I thought of using Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper but that was so, ahhhh, predictable.  I thought the Red Glimmer Paper really made the card pop.  Plus, I love being a bit of a "design rebel".  ((grin))

This new Edgelits Die is called "Sleigh Ride" and the set includes three different images.  Below is a picture taken from the display board during Convention last month.  There's a brand new Precision Base Plate for your Big Shot that will make cutting these intricate dies so much easier.  Trust me, I know. I made 110 of these cards!

I used the Softly Falling Embossing Folder for the background and the gorgeous, new Winter Wonderland Speciality Designer Series Paper behind the sleigh.  I added a Silver Metal Button, tied with Whisper White Baker's Twine and a simple greeting from the new, Holiday Catalog stamp set "Happy Scenes".  Oh, and I almost forgot, the greeting was stamped in another new Holiday Catalog product – the Basic Black Archival Ink Pad!  You're going to love this new pad!
