Happy Monday everyone!

Bob the Builder and I spent Friday evening shopping at Costco to stock up on essentials just in case Hurricane Erika decided to rear her ugly head. Thankfully, aside from lots of rain, there was no hurricane.

Although the weather here in central Florida is a bit gloomy with all the rain we're getting it's still warm and my flowers are in full bloom — and well watered!  ((smile))  One of the reasons I love to garden is to watch the butterflies visit the beautiful blooms in our yard.

Today's video project is a softly colored card centered around the Watercolor Wings stamp set.  This card has a fun twist, too. I added a soft striped background using the Dots and Stripes stencil and a beautiful metallic foil doily.  My original card uses a silver doily but in the video I'll create a card using a gold one. I'm excited to read your comments and let me know which color doily you favor.

As always, I will include cutting dimensions and photos following the video in this post.

And, guess what tomorrow is?

Tomorrow is September 1st and the debut of the new Holiday Catalaog. There's 51 pages of amazing products…and I mean AMAZING!
