I've heard the word "sublime" over the years but it's not one that I've used in conversation.
So, when this stamp set was introduced in the new annual catalog I decided to look it up in the online dictionary. If you're wondering, too, here it is:
SUB-LIME, pronounced səˈblīm/ adjective: sublime; comparative adjective: sublimer; superlative adjective: sublimest
1 1. of such excellence, grandeur, or beauty as to inspire great admiration or awe."Mozart's sublime piano concertos"
This submarine image makes me smile! The little fish are the perfect addition and I find the image perfect for adults and kids alike.
I used the Large Polka Dot embossing folder to mimic the submarine portholes and Washi Tape. The Project Life Corner Rounder was added to two opposite sides to keep the overall curved feel to the card.
Stampin' Up! Markers are a wonderful thing – easy to use and inexpensive. I don't know about you, but when I sit down to color I just get lost in it. I could color for hours. ((smile))
It's a simple card with a lot of character and I'm confident that you know someone who's sublime to stamp and send one, too.
