Have you read or seen the movies to the Twilight Series? I'll admit, I'm not a vampire fan but Boo kept telling me that I needed to see the movie.
Since she's a film major I try and watch whatever she recommends. Typically she's right on the money when it comes to a good or bad film. I have to admit, the movies were well written, the acting was good and the special effects were great.
I'm still not a vampire fan – well, that was until I saw this little guy in his Halloween costume!
My post about a week ago shared about my Halloweens growing up. If you missed that post, you can read it HERE. The window on this card reminds me of times my sister and I would dress up and as we headed to the front door, we'd stop and look at ourselves in the reflection of the glass of the storm door. I remember many times she'd look at me and say "you look great, sissy!"
I stamped the vampire in the new Basic Black Archival ink pad and used markers to color his costume with Old Olive and Basic Black markers. I used the Smoky Slate marker to color in his hair. I then used the White Gel Pen to give his hair highlights.
I used an additional stamp set "Howl-O-Ween Treat" to stamp the greeting in the background. I used VersaMark ink to achieve a subtle tone.
I also used a sponge dauber inked with Smoky Slate to create a smudged/smoky look around the banner and the window. I added a few enamel dots for dimension.
