Welcome to another month of "hopping inspiration"! This month's theme is "Remember to Give Thanks".
You may be beginning your hop journey here or you may have arrived from the previous person on the list. Either way, I'm glad you're here!
I've centered my theme around the Acorny Thank You Bundle. This Bundle includes the stamp set and the coordinating acorn builder punch. I aimed for a woodsy feel by using Kraft Cardstock for the base of my card cut 4 1/4" x 11". I used the same cardstock to stamp the acorn cap.
The texture for this card comes from the Kraft Corrugated Cardstock. I punched the acorn from that beautiful rigged paper! I also added 10" of Linen Thread in small, whimsical loops, behind the acorn.
To add to the rugged look I chose to tear one side of the greeting and used a sponge to apply Crumb Cake ink to the edges. The greeting comes from the "For All Things" stamp set. The green ink isn't Mossy Meadow (which coordinates with the designer paper "Into the Woods"). I used a well overlooked color – Always Artichoke. The artichoke tone works so nicely with the Kraft Cardstock.
Don't stop here!
