Meet Vladimir!
Meet Penelope!
Meet Albert!
I know it's crazy but when I create a card with an adorable face I just have to name it!
Earlier this month I created a Halloween card using the Haunt Ya Later stamp set that featured a vampire. His name is Vladimir. I also featured Penelope, the adorable baby owl popping out of a gift box. She was part of my card design for Studio Stamps in the Mail for October.
I colored him in with markers and coupled the polka dot Merry Moments designer paper with the Large Polka Dot embossing folder. I was worried it was too matchy-matchy but I ended up really liking it.
I cut a piece of Whisper White cardstock 2" x 4" and used the Ornate Tag Topper Punch on both the white cardstock and the designer paper.
The Christmas Greetings Thinlits Die created the "Merry" greeting. The new Precision Base Plate ROCKS for these intricate dies! And, what "Lisa card" wouldn't be complete without a little sparkle. I added a few Gold Sequins using the Fine Tip Glue which tied in nicely with the gold ribbon.
Wait until you see what I've come up with for the next Studio Stamps in the Mail!
This month's packet includes the Jolly Christmas stamp set, all the pre-punched, pre-embossed pieces, accessories and envelopes to make 8 cards; 2 each of the designs shown below.
