Crafting at the Lodge Fall Retreat day!

I love hosting this semi-annual event where customers and downline come to relax, eat, get inspired, eat, stamp, eat and be pampered. Did I mention eating? ((grin))

This 10-hour event is held at the Brandon Elks Lodge where we have 3,500 square feet of space all to ourselves! This fall retreat will include 9 projects, a $30 goodie bag with Holiday Catalog products, prizes and a few surprises! I encourage my guests to bring their own paper crafting projects to work on in-between all the fun. Did I mention the eating part? Lunch and dinner are home cooked meals, prepared right on the premises and I always provide a candy bar. Dinner is a sit-down, served meal complete with cloth napkins and tablecloths. It's pampering at its best.

I don't want to give away too much since some of you are attending tomorrow's big event but I will share these adorable owl tags that I created. These tags will be a welcome addition to the prizes that I will be giving away tomorrow. $250 worth of prizes!

I can't take credit for all the designs. I found lots of inspiration from Pinterest and then just went to town putting them together with my own supplies and imagination. The large owls are my own patterns. I simply folded a piece of printer paper in half, drew half of the owl, cut and opened the paper. Great trick for getting both sides symmetrical.
