I'm up early today after a full evening of set up for today's Crafting at the Lodge Fall Retreat.
Among the fun (and eating!), I love to provide little surprises throughout the day to those that attend. I consider it all part of the pampering!
I created these owls to hold their names as place cards. Everyone has their own designated space at the Retreat to unload their paper crafting supplies and stretch out. They can work on their own projects throughout the day and work in the make & takes at their leisure. It's truly a blissful day of relaxation and inspiration.
I purchase the wood photo cubes from Oriental Trading and cut Bohemian Designer Paper to fit the four sides and the top.
Circle punches make up the eyes and I used the white gel pen to add a small accent. The 1" Square Punch (cut in half) were used to make the beak.
Pumpkin Pie Cotton Ribbon creates a small bow at the base of the place card holder. I also added 20" of Early Espresso Seam Binding and tied it around the block and made a bow for the finishing touch.
October 29th is the last day to sign up for this month's selection of Studio Stamps in the Mail. This month's SSITM will include the clear mount Jolly Christmas stamp set and supplies to create 8 cards; 2 each of the designs shown. CLICK HERE for details.
