One of the most overlooked products in the catalog are the note cards and envelopes. They are a real bargain for 20 pre-cut cards and the envelopes are included. The U.S. price is only $6! Even better is the fact that you don't have anything to prep. They're even pre-scored.
To showcase this awesome product I created a simple card using the Christmas Cuties stamp set. This same stamp set, Christmas Cuties, is also the featured stamp set for my December Studio Stamps in the Mail.
The note cards are available in Whisper White and Crumb Cake. I embossed the front of the Crumb Cake note card with the Lucky Stars Embossing Folder. I used a scrap pieces of Crumb Cake cardstock and stamped the angel in Basic Black archival ink. I used the 2" circle punch to punch the image out and I used markers to color her in.
I wanted the circle to resemble an ornament so I used the ornament topper thinlit from the Delicate Ornament Thinlits collection and die cut it using a scrap of Silver Foil Sheet. I mounted all the pieces of Dimensionals.
Once everything was mounted I used the Paper Piercing Mat and Tool to create hole through the front of the note card. I cut 15" of Silver Baker's Twine and thread it through the hole, around the inside of the card and tied a bow at the top of the ornament. I added Dazzling Diamonds Glitter to her wings to add a little sparkle.
