We're "Going Global" – literally – but not today. Today Bob the Builder and I are celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary.
To say that my life is fabulous with this man would be a huge understatement. We truly have an amazing marriage and I'm so very, very grateful.
We met through a mutual friend in early 1988. In 1989 we began dating and on Valentine's Day in 1990 he asked me to marry him. I was over-the-top thrilled…and I still am…25 years later.
We purposely planned a Christmas time wedding so that our family and friends could share the holidays with us and then stay for the wedding. Looking back I wouldn't change a single thing.
I would definitely be lost without him!
I created his anniversary card using a new stamp set in the upcoming Occasions Catalog called "Going Global". The coordinating "World Traveler" embossing folder adds the perfect texture to this card.
The designer paper is from another coordinating product called "Going Places".
I filled in small areas of the compass with Gold Dazzling Details. Thankfully, Bob the Builder doesn't mind a little sparkle!
Speaking of "Going Global"…since our anniversary is right after Christmas we opted to celebrate it in May 2016. We are extending the Stampin' Up! Incentive Trip to the Mediterranean (cruise) and will enjoy an additional week in Ireland, visiting Dublin, Kilkenny and Wessex then traveling to Barcelona, Spain for another 2 days before our cruise departs to Italy and France. It's truly going to be a trip of a lifetime for us.

A very HAPPY 25th ANNIVERSARY to you and Bob the Builder. Yea, for Christmas weddings!! We just celebrated our
40th Anniversary on the 21st. It has truly been the best 40 yrs. of my life and look forward to that many more with my Best Friend and loving husband.
