Mediterranean Achievers Blog Hop

When I was finished flagging the pages of things I 'must have' the Love Blossoms Suite of products was at the top of my list. It's only fitting that my BLING card featured this Suite of products.

The Bloomin' Love stamp set is available in a Bundle with the new Bloomin' Heart Thinlits. I promise, you'll want them both! The Suite also includes the Love Blossoms Embellishment Kit filled with pearl trim, satin ribbon, bow clips, wood veneer hearts, pink enamel glitter dots, gold foil heart dollies and sequins.

I knew I wanted to make a shaker card using the die so I began by die-cutting an opening in the front of my card which left me with a large silhouette of a heart. I used the die again with Whisper White cardstock which provided the gorgeous filigree heart you see here. The flowers in the Bloomin' Love stamp set coordinate with the open areas of the die where I stamped and filled them in using Blushing Bride ink. I cut a piece of Window Sheet about 1/2" larger than the heart opening and adhered it using Fast Fuse adhesive.

I added glue using the Fine Tip Glue to the white heart to adhere it to the front of the window sheet. Once my window was created I used the edges of the Dimensionals to create a border around the Window Sheet to hold the sequins. I poured a generous amount into the bordered window. I sealed the window with a separate piece of Smoky Slate cardstock (shown below) which finished off the inside cover of the card.

I added the pink enamel glitter dots to the center of the flowers to create a little depth and extra sparkle. I sure wish you were here to shake it and admire the gorgeous sparkle and shine that photography can never capture!
