I'm mixing a little 'old' and a little new today. I've used the black and white striped vellum from the Winter Wonderland Designer Vellum Stack. You can still purchase this gorgeous vellum during the Year End Clearance Sale. While supplies last, this 36 sheet pack is only $7.00 (U.S.).
I've always been a fan of the simplicity of black and white. There's no concern over color coordination or even coloring in outline images.
I've used the new Occasions Catalog stamp set Birthday Blooms and the Everyday Chic Designer Paper.
This card is a perfect example of simplicity since the flower image is typically something you'd color in. I stamped the flower in Basic Black ink and added a little Dazzling Diamonds glitter instead. The heart border images are also part of this stamp set. I love the whimsical 'wave' to those hearts!
Various size circle punches and a few rhinestones create an interesting layout with just the right amount of bling.
