Mmmmm…..chocolate!
I'm a huge fan – HUGE!
Since Christmas I've been cutting back on calories to lose those few pounds I gained eating too many sweets. Please don't tell me I'm the only one?!
I'm an avid exerciser but I've added another day a week to my workout schedule in hopes of "speeding things up". For nearly 2 weeks I didn't have a single thing with sugar in it. Fast forward to this Monday. I decided that I just couldn't live without a small piece – so I ate one very small piece. You'll be pleased to know that I'm still on the 'band wagon' and controlling my chocolate intake. Sigh…it's not fun!
Valentine's Day around the corner and that always means chocolate. Creating small gifts for teachers, co-workers and friends is always fun but you need an affordable and duplicatable idea.
My Sketched Dot Bags turned into a chocolate favor, complete with a sentiment card are perfect for giving!
As always, I've included pictures and cutting dimensions following the video in this post.
Cutting Dimensions
- Fold the bag up about 3" towards the opening
- Blushing Bride cardstock for insert is cut 3 1/2" x 4"
- Birthday Bouquet Designer Paper is cut 2" x 10 1/2"

I stopped eating sugar for the new year…. it’s hard! But paying off, as I’ve already lost 6 lbs as of last Tuesday!
Your card is very pretty! Wonderful take on the inspiration photo!
Hi Leigh! I didn’t have sugar for 2 weeks. I wasn’t happy but honestly, I don’t overindulge. I just have to have a small piece every day. It’s my vice…. Thankfully I work out almost daily so that has helped but geesh, sure would love to give up exercise and just eat lots of chocolate! A girl can dream. Congrats on your will power and dropped pounds. Super proud of you. Thanks, too, for the sweet words about the project. Here’s to a happy, healthy New Year!
