Ask a teenager or college student what they want for their birthday and it's almost always the same answer.
A gift card or money.
Although wrapping gifts seems to be 'old school' we can certainly wrap gift cards.
Gift card holders at the store are ridiculously expensive but today's video project will show you how to create one quickly and easily. Be sure to scroll down, past the video in this post where you will find pictures and cutting dimensions for this project.

Lisa, Thank you so much for sharing such a cute project! I love it! I also love all of the MANY tips you have shared with us! Keep em coming!
Lisa, your tutorial is so easy! thanks for sharing. Just one comment, the white card stock should measure 1.5 x 4.75 inches. Take care, Joan Beitman
Oh dear! Maybe, I am very mistaken! My card must be upside down, ugh! So of course your measurements are spot on, now to make number two? Joan
Oh, thank heavens for your comment, Joan! Oops, it appears to be a typo. When I filmed the video I remember remarking that I wasn’t sure on this size and that I would include it in my blog. Thank you for having my back on this. I’ll correct the post right now. So glad you enjoyed the project. Happy stamping!
What a fabulous tutorial! Thank you so much for sharing, i will definitely be making these. In return i will share the secret for punching both stamped balloons at once! All you have to do is punch both out on a spare piece of cardstock (which you could hold onto and use every time) then line up the stamps face down in the holes of the punched card, press your acrylic block down over them so they stick in place and voila! Now when you stamp you will be able to line them both up easily in the punch! And you can stamp as many as you need without having to reposition 🙂
Hi Kirsty! AMAZING tip on the balloon punch! Thank you! I’m palm slapping myself up against the head wondering why I never thought of that!!!! So appreciate your feedback.
