Today's card was inspired by a new sketch challenge with CAS(E) This Sketch #161.
I used the cake stand from the Build A Birthday stamp set using Bermuda Bay ink to house the greeting as a layer on the cake.
The party hat was creating using the Tree Punch. I punched it once in Bermuda Bay cardstock then again in the Cherry On Top Designer Paper. I trimmed off about 1/4" from the bottom to make it a bit smaller. I mounted the designer paper to the cardstock by slightly off setting it to create a brim on the party hat. The 1/2" Circle Punch creates the pom-pom top and the entire hat is mounted on Dimensionals.
Every celebration needs a little spark so I chose to stamp the flame in Crushed Curry ink at the end of the sentiment. It's an easy card to create so sit down and make a bunch since this card is suitable for guys or gals in any age group.
