Last week, after dinner, I had 90 minutes to myself.  I could have watched TV, read a book or surfed Pinterest but I opted to design a few cards.  

Since I didn't have much time I had create with "simple" in mind. I love using sketches for inspiration and here's the one I used to engineer this card.

I used the stamp set You're Sublime from the annual catalog. The whimsical images are really different from anything else Stampin' Up! offers and I find myself using this set more than I originally anticipated.  

I embossed the base of the Whisper White cardstock with the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder.  Instead of using the raised embossed circles I flipped it over and chose to use the side that was 'de-embossed'.  I filled the hallowed out areas with circles punched from the 3/4" Circle Punch in Cucumber Crush cardstock. It's difficult to tell in the photograph but I added Clear Wink of Stella to the circles which creates a beautiful, yet subtle shimmer to the card. 

The frog is colored in with Cucumber Crush marker and the spots in Old Olive marker then punched out using the 2" Circle Punch.  I layered the entire image on a scallop circle punched from the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle Punch.  And, of course, I added more Clear Wink of Stella to the frog's spots.  

It's a simple card and you can makes lots of in one sitting…I sure wish I had….I have lots of "toadally" awesome people in my life!
