Today is the last day to sign up for May's Studio Stamps in the Mail kit "Helping Me Grow". This month's kit includes the photopolymer stamp set, the pre-cut supplies to create 8 cards; 2 each of 4 different designs, all the accessories, embossed pieces, punched shapes, envelopes and step-by-step PDF instructions with color pictures.
You can find all the details HERE.
Your hand stamped cards deserves an equally beautiful envelope.
Today's quick tip video shares how you can emboss your envelopes without compromising the mailing and how to properly place them so they fit in your Big Shot.
All the supplies featured can be purchased in my online store and I offer exclusive, FREE REWARDS for any size order. This month I'm offering this Featured Project PDF Tutorial for free.
No minimum order required!
Be sure to add this fabulous stamp set "A Nice Cuppa" and the coordinating designer paper "Have a Cuppa" to your order. BOTH are retiring on June 1st or while supplies last!
Click on the image below to view all the retired products. Products listed on the retired list are only available through June 1st OR while supplies last.
Here are the step by step instructions:
*Place just the flap of the envelope into the embossing folder and close it.
*You will notice that the envelope sticks out further than will allow in the Big Shot so fold the remaining portion of the envelope BEHIND the embossing folder.
*Remove all the tabs on the Big Shot so you are only using the base platform.
*Place a clear mat on the bottom of the platform.
*Place your embossing folder/envelope on the clear mat.
*Place another clear mat on the top of the embossing folder/envelope.
*Crank through the Big Shot and remove.
My sincerest apologies. Looks like I really need this upcoming vacation, huh?

Great tip today, Lisa. I love this idea and just have to remember it and make it happen. You’re right about we want to keep the post office happy!! Have a great day!
Good morning, HJ! Every morning I look forward to your comments! Thank you for always being there to provide comments and feedback. It’s so appreciated!
Thanks for the tip today. I have been embossing envelopes using the border embossing folders, with the envelope wide open and sliding the folder just through the top part of the flap, avoiding the glued part. Works for me with regular embossing sandwich.
That’s a fabulous tip, Rosemarie! Thank you for sharing it with us. Unfortunately the border embossing folders with SU! retired some time ago and I do miss them – especially for this type of thing. Again, thanks for sharing!
