I wanted to share the last of the three favors I presented my stampers during my semi-annual Crafting at the Lodge Retreat. My Retreat t is held twice a year in March and October and it's always themed. March's theme was centered around a tea party.
I love to surprise my guests with fun gifts throughout the day to show my gratitude for their attendance. Since I'm on a budget, like most of you, I look for a simple, yet impressive way to present a gift.
I purchased full size Hershey's bars at Costco in a multi-pack. I wrapped them in plain brown packing paper, added one of our Tea Lace Paper Doilies to the top and tied it with jute that I purchased from Lowes.
The stamp set "A Nice Cuppa" was perfect for the tag. I stamped the lemon wedge in So Saffron and then stamped the greeting in Early Espresso just above it. The small heart in the set was perfect for stamping over the word "you". Crumb Cake ink coordinates with the brown packing paper nicely.
They all enjoyed the gift – who wouldn't love chocolate, right? ((smile))
These make great, quick gifts so keep this idea in mind when you're putting together party or shower favors. This idea would be perfect for as a year-end gift for school teacher's and aides.
