Handmade items are always appreciated gifts. With school ending in just a few weeks, now is a great time to create a small handmade item to give to a teacher, lunchroom lady, or carpool parent.
Today's video project will teach you how to create a cover for any size spiral notebook. Vary your theme to present as favors for wedding and baby showers or for gifts based on gender.
My spiral notebook uses the stamp set "Helping Me Grow" along with the English Garden designer paper. The designer paper, Hello Honey cardstock and markers used in this project are retiring on May 31st, or while supplies last. Now's a great time to purchase your paper since I'm offering my Bon Voyage Bonus!
NOTE: Stampin' Up! cardstock prices will increase on June 1st. Purchase your favorite colors now and save!
Any size online order will receive a BONUS and orders greater than that will qualify for project tutorials and free product(s) of your choice. This offer is exclusive to Lisa's Stamp Studio and ends at 11:59PM EST on May 31st so don't wait to shop.
Be sure to use the host code shown below to qualify! All the details can be found HERE.
I've posted pictures and cutting dimensions following the video in today's post.

Cutting Dimensions
- My notebook cover measures 4" x 5 1/2". The instructions in my video can be altered for any size spiral notebook.
- Measure your spiral notebook, length and width
- Cut your cardstock the same size as the spiral notebook cover. I added 1/8" on the width as a "precaution" to allow some room for incorrectly aligned hole punching.
- Tip Top Taupe cardstock is cut 3 1/4" x 5"
- English Garden Designer Paper is cut 3" x 4 3/4"
- Whisper White cardstock and Vellum cardstock were used to create the image layers. View the video for instruction.
- Lots of Labels Framelits #6 (#1 being the smallest in the collection)
