Love this! I’m going to try this with some neglected embossing folders this summer — as soon as school gets out! 🙂 I hope you are having a great trip!
Hi Laurie! Oh my…neglected embossing folders…say it isn’t so! 😀 Break those folders out and get your white crayons peeled and ready. You’re going to love this technique! Enjoy your summer and save some free time to stamp.
HUGS!
I have a set of Stampin Up crayons, would it work with using them?
It sure looks great and I really want to try it.
Barbara thank you for viewing!! I would give those Stampin’ Up! crayons a try! I do think they would work!!

this turned out very nice. We did this technique in grade school art. We used colored crayons on the paper over plastic designs made for this purpose. To create a scene we ran yellow over a sun template, blue over a cloud template etc. Thanks for sharing.
Edee happy to have you watch!! Thank you so much!! Glad you have done this technique!! Awesome!!
I had to chuckle when I saw this video… I’m heading on to 74 years old and it reminded me
of all those k-5 resist paintings we did in grade school.
I was watching the video and I thought “what’d new is old”….
Cute cards though! And now i can go back to grade school and remember what fun it was to
do that technique and add it to card making.
Have a great day!
Mack thank you so much for visiting this video and your sweet story of your school days!! It is always a good thing to bring back those oldies but goodies!!
thank you so much for sharing this cool effect. I love it. And I am one of those ladies who have a ton of crayons in my own stuff. LOL I was one of those moms that every time I took my kiddos to get there stuff, I got some for me also. Than my sister gave me so many crayons she had no use for. LOL hello crayons.
Lori thank you for stopping by to watch and for your sweet story!! Crayons, Crayons everywhere!!! Happy this technique is helpful for you!!
