Swirls, polka dots and flowers make up this whimsical card.
Ive used two new In Colors together; Emerald Envy and Peekaboo Peach. That Emerald Envy reminds me so much of the green I saw in Ireland!
The Swirly Bird Bundle created the flowers. This fun set includes different swirl images that can be layered for a fun, 3D look, or stamped separately to use as backgrounds.
I embossed the base of the card in the Large Polka Dot Embossing Folder. The Whisper White piece is cut 2" x 5 1/2" and the Peekaboo Peach cardstock is cut 2 1/2" x 5 1/2".
I used the Bundle framelits (Swirly Scribbles, included in the Bundle) for the cardstock overlay. When you purchase Bundles you will save 10%.
I added Clear Wink of Stella to the cardstock which is difficult to appreciate in a photo. In person, it sparkles! This framelit die cuts perfectly using the Precision Base Plate on the Magnetic Platform.
I stamped off one layer of the Peekaboo Peach ink on scrap paper. This lightened the shade to achieve this two-tone look. I love how one stamp pad can produce multiple shades of color – cost saving and versatile!
